The SkyTeam Alliance is a global airline network that includes 19 member airlines from various countries worldwide. Founded in 2000, it serves over 1,150 destinations in more than 175 countries.
In comparison to the other two major airline alliances, SkyTeam is smaller than the Star Alliance but larger than the OneWorld in terms of the number of member airlines and destinations served. SkyTeam is also known for having a strong presence in Asia, with several major Asian airlines among its members.
